Charlotte Misselwitz
Charlotte MisselwitzAfter having spent almost a year in Israel with a grant for foreign journalism from 2005 to 2006, organizing the conference seemed a logical step. The foundation “Dr. Alexander und Rita Bessser-Stiftung” came to sponsor not only her journalistic career but also the conference and this website. Before her time in Israel, Charlotte had been involved in the rather academical world of discourses. When she had graduated with a master in Literature and Philosophy at the Humboldt-University in Berlin, she worked as a teaching assistant at the European University in Frankfurt-Oder. Furthermore, she was involved in project work about the third generation after the Holocaust in Israel and Germany. With the practical and academical experience in the field, Charlotte combines the two aspects for the conference and this website.
