Journalist and media trainer located in Ramallah-West Bank.
Education in Arabic literature and qualification as a Media Trainer.

Work experience:
1990- Present: Agence Farnce Presse, Jerusalem, Staff writer and senior correspondent.
2002- Present: Switzerland International radio, Online Writer, Arabic service
1992-1999: Radio France International , Jerusalem correspondent, Arabic service.
1989-1992: Alfajr English weekly, Jerusalem, reporter.
1986-1988- Annahar daily, Jerusalem, reporter.
1985-1986 – Albaydir Assyasi Magazine, Jerusalem, local news editor.

Media Training Experience:
1995-2000: started training Journalists at Birzeit University prior to the establishment of the Media institute before moving to be chief trainer and coordinator of the print unit at the institute. Duties at the Media Institute included preparing and planning a six month diploma. Program for local mid career Journalists in addition to coordinating the program.
2003-2004: Trained a team of employees at the Palestinian Ministry of Released Detainees on the subject of advocacy: The six months program included training the staff on writing and disseminating information and setting up a resource and information center with a target audience.
2004-2005: Coauthor of “Guide to investigative reporting” the first such guide in the region which was the product of a comprehensive project to train local journalists on investigative reporting. The project was carried out in collaboration with the “Arab Thought Forum”. The project included training around 20 journalists and producing Palestinian ethic standards to investigative reporting.
2005 – Trained Jordanian Journalists (print and TV journalists and editors in Jordan. An extensive one week training course.
2006 – Inhouse training at Maan News Agency (an online Palestinian News agency). Training included all forms of Journalism work (editing, writing, compiling stories, etc).
2007 – Washington State University, Pullman, USA, taught a summer course on International coverage Media and the Middle East.
Participated in other training courses conducted by different local Media and other
Institutions with focus on how to write to the print media.
Lectures constantly locally and abroad on Media issues.
Other contributions included columns to Alhayat London Based daily and Internazionale Magazine, Rome.
Commentator at Arabia and mbc Arab satellite channels and Aljazeera International.
